Get Hook’d
My very first crochet challenge began when a friend asked me to create an amigurumi mascot for her app—a blue-footed booby named Benny. With no kits or patterns to guide me, I relied on imagination, persistence, and plenty of trial and error. Within a month, Benny was born, and soon a whole flock of blue-footed beauties followed!
From there, requests poured in—blankets, stuffed animals, and keepsakes for grandbabies—and before I knew it, I was truly hooked (pun intended).
